The grape pattern by Northwood is one of the best know patterns of carnival glassware made. Northwood carnival glass is fairly easy to identify by its "N" held within a circle on the bottom of the glassware. The deep blue, purple and marigold colors of Northwood carnival glass are probably the among the most distinct of all the carnival glass that was produced during the depression era. Northwood quit it's manufacturing in the 1020's but managed to produce around 60 distinct shapes utilizing many of its unique colors. You will find a contantly updated inventory of Northwood here at the Antique Carnival.
